What Can You Get for Only $10?

Ten dollars can get you a membership to the most innovative and dynamic business association around! The SCBA’s job is to provide a strong and active platform for networking with like-minded entrepreneurs who support one another and work together to make San Clemente, and the world, a better place! The activities promoted by the SCBA include networking opportunities; creative and entertaining events to bring the local businesses together with the residents of San Clemente; promoting and unifying the city; developing the vision for San Clemente’s future; and, making the community a better, safer, livelier, and more prosperous place to work, live, and play.

We support tourism and tapping into the 4.5 million people who drive by to stop and enjoy our unique eateries, sensational sunsets on the beach, and the quaint shops along our streets. We invite surfers and the military to visit San Clemente to dine, dance, surf, and enjoy our city’s unique ambiance. Being a part of this incredible city and an active member of the SCBA means being a part of an amazing team to create the vision of San Clemente’s designers: to build the Monte Carlo California Riviera. We are better and stronger together in a non-exclusive gathering of creative entrepreneurs and business owners.

Why the San Clemente Business Association? Local businesses most daunting competition today is the threat of Amazon, and other online shopping sites. Amazon’s ambitious new push for same-day delivery threatens to destroy local retail and service sectors. All industries are potentially at risk, from specialty shops to restaurants to retailers. We are facing new challenges from the virtual world. Now is the time to collectively meet those challenge with our own online applications, and have a healthy local business model to actively compete with national online giants. Where we can come together to develop and test new technologies at every level and remain competitive in the new market place. Together, we can become more flexible and agile at the local level than a nationwide system could ever hope to be. We are multiple businesses working together toward common goals: increase our individual businesses on a local and online platform, develop a strong local and regional customer base, and build dynamic relationships other business owners, as well as with the residents of San Clemente.

San Clemente is a city in Orange County, California. The population was 63,522 at the 2010 census. Located on the California Coast, midway between Los Angeles and San Diego at the southern tip of the county, it is known for its ocean, hill, and mountain views. It boasts a pleasant climate and stunning Spanish Colonial style architecture. San Clemente's city slogan is "Spanish Village by the Sea" means Spain - Mediterranean (modeled after Monte Carlo). San Clemente was called the California Riviera by its designers. San Clemente is the number one Surf destination in the continental United States.  With President Nixon, San Clemente became the city that helped change and influence world events, opened the doors to China, and witnessed the signing of the Salt Nuclear talks (the beginning of a nuclear peace in the world).
